Comunication from Cahuita National Park Council
We would like to inform you that we will be reopening Cahuita National Park responsibly and we are full of hope.
The Local Council and Cahuita National Park’s administration would like to provide you with some information for the reopening on Monday May 18th..
Please keep in mind the following information in order to have the best service and maximize your experience during the visit.
White Beach Sector Schedule
8:00 am until 4:00pm every day.
Stay at the beach is not allowed
Make a contribution when entering the park
150 people maximum per day
Trail will be open until the Suarez River.
Permitted time to walk on the trail is 2.5 hours
The opening schedule for both sectors of Cahuita National Park is from 8 am until 4pm.
Visitors with colds or symptoms associated with COVID-19 will not be admitted into the protected wildlife area.
One parking space should be left free between each vehicle
Public ranchos, lunch zones, green picnic areas and visitors center will not be available.
Prepared meals cannot be brought into the Park but small snacks, hydration drinks and water are allowed.
Visitors will not be able to stay on the beach.
Visitors must take all waste generated during their visit.
All visitors must complete the handwashing protocol at the entrance and exit of the protected area.
